The first month of the year has been and gone and it was busier and more exciting than what I had first expected! I was gone for a few weeks because of all the new happenings in my life but I did manage to fit a mini holiday into those busy few weeks. I was lucky enough to spend some time at the coast and I managed to get some absolutely beautiful shots! Which I will share with you all in due time. Most things have started to fall into a routine now which means I can finally get back to one of the things I very much enjoy doing; Art. I've managed to have taken quite a few photos and it's now the editing part that I have left to do which is taking longer than I would like it to but that's what I get for being too fussy . In saying that, I will be trying to keep up my one upload a week so stay tuned! 

There is a fine line between those two and I am becoming very familiar with its presence. I can’t decide if that’s a good things or a bad thing.  Either way it’s helping to shape me into being someone I like very much.

Halloween has been and gone and while I enjoyed every single moment of what October had to bring I’m not ready to depart from it just yet. I’m working on a set of images that contrast but also capture the classic image of mainstream monsters.

Vampires, zombies, ghosts and witches, and another friend who’s still in stitches.

Stay tuned my little monsters but in the meantime spend some time on the other side and enjoy some images from some classic fairytales.

You really can have the best of both worlds ♥

I've learned new skills and perfected old ones so with some luck my new additions will be just as pleasing as or perhaps more pleasing than my previous artworks. I've also changed and grown as a person and so some things have lost meaning to me but I have also gained new meanings in other areas of my life. So enjoy what I have and stay tuned for what will come ♥

I've just uploaded my newest creation, a short story titled: Imaginary Love.

It has taken me a little under a month to write and I am absolutely satisfied and in love with it! I feel like it’s one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever written and I have my beautiful little sister to thank for helping me. She’s only 10 years old but without her undying love for her imagination this story couldn’t possible have come alive. She really did show me the magical atmosphere that an imaginary friend can bring into a person's life.

I’ve had a close friend read it who is also a writer and he is teaching me how to be more expressive and imaginative with my choice of words to better engage the audience so once I’ve learned a bit more I’ll be going back and fingers crossed adding more magic to it.

So yesterday I uploaded my poem "Daddy's Little Girl" and I am absolutely blown away by the response from the DeviantART community.

I have always wished to be on the front page (I'm currently #12 in the most popular in 24 hours group) and while I am feeling very proud and overwhelmed that so many people liked how I strung those words together, I’m also worried that I will never be able to write another amazing piece like this one again.

The support and advice I have received have become so valuable and I plan to use those pieces of advice to help fix up the poem because I know there are some areas that need tweaking and to use it for future ones.

I really can’t thank everyone enough for taking the time to write me a comment. You’ve made me not only feel great but also appreciate everything else that comes with it. Thank you ♥
